We are so excited to have great things going on in December! December 1st Pastor Kent Christmas of the Resting Place Church will be preaching under the Bridge and we look forward to a powerful move of God! December 8th, Brother Philip Corish and Blue Ridge Bible College will be joining us as well as Pastor Danny Chambers of Oasis Worship Center, who will be sharing an illustrated sermon with us. Feed The Children are also coming that day with two truck loads of food for The Bridge Ministry to disperse to the homeless and needy. The Bridge Ministry founder and president, Candy Christmas, will be sharing her heart with us under the Bridge on December 15th, and Global Force Church from Jamestown, TN is also coming to help serve with our volunteers.
This Christmas season, we are looking forward to celebrating Christ birth with our underprivileged friends. Oasis Worship Center has invited our Bridge friends to their church for a dinner and baptismal December 20th, where they will also give each person the gift of a backpack donated by Sophia’s Heart. On December 22nd, We are excited to have many groups coming to volunteer, including: Pastor Greg Beasley and New Bethel Church, Pastor Scott Davis and River Of Life in Donelson, TN, First Baptist West Point, and Pastor David Miller with Edgil Grove Baptist Church who will be speaking to us that night. Following the sermon, we will share communion together by candlelight, to celebrate the greatest gift of all: Christ death, burial, and resurrection. Finally, On December 29th, Pastor Jerry Ford from Church Alive in Owensboro, KY will be bringing this year to a close with a message from God’s Word for us.
