Prior to the devastating earthquake on January 12, 2010, the Bridge Ministry had established a home for children in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti, called The Candy House. This facility allowed for over sixty children to be fed and educated daily as well as providing housing for as many children as the house had capacity. Unfortunately, the Candy House was left in ruins by the natural disaster, but has since be rebuilt and is in full operations.
The Bridge Ministry has begun taking frequent trips to Haiti to purchase property outside of the city of Port Au Prince. This year, our goal is to construct an orphanage on land owned by The Bridge Ministry, and to begin housing, feeding, and educating orphaned children. Until then, The Bridge Ministry continues to support Pastors who have feeding outreaches, as well as holding street services and feeding when visiting the country.
