January Update
Tuesday, February 2nd, 2010Every month is so exciting for us here at The Bridge Ministry because the Lord always moves in ways that surprise us. This January has been very cold for Nashville, filled with snow, but God has been grateful to allow us to begin our sixth year under the bridge. We have thoroughly enjoyed everyone who has shared the Word with us under the Bridge this month including: Brother Josh White and Pastor Clifton of Daystar Television Network. We also were so thrilled to have been apart of the food drop hosted by Feed America First in conjunction with Feed The Children. This event proved to be such a success and blessing for us and many other ministries and families.
January has also seen much heartache in light of the horrific earthquake in Port Au Prince, Haiti. We are thankful to report that the Candy House in Haiti is still standing and Pastor Parisian, his wife, and the children are safe and well, but we ask continual prayers for the country and our ministry there. Since the end of last year, The Bridge Ministry has been looking for property to purchase and build a compound on for the housing and education of Haitian orphans. We are seeking the Lord’s direction as to which property He has for us, and ask that you, as Bridge supports, would do the same.
We are so grateful to everyone who contributes to our Ministry, whether through volunteering, finances, or prayer. We pray that God will repay you one hundred fold for your sacrifices and commitment. God bless you in this coming month and we hope to see you under the Bridge!
