The Bridge Ministry was honored to have Amy Grant and Soles 4 Souls come to the Jefferson St Bridge. It was a big night Amy Grant sang for our friends under the bridge along with The First Presbyterian Youth Choir. When service was over Soles 4 Souls gave everyone a brand new pair of shoes, they gave away about 350 pairs. The homeless were thrilled to have new shoes. Most of them there old shoes had holes all the way threw. Amy Grant stayed till the end of service to help pass out shoes to the homeless. It was a special treat for the them to have Amy Grant come sing. We were very blessed to have all of them with us.
We would also like to thank the Ladies from Northridge Church that came to help under the bridge. They brought blue jeans and hygiene products to bless our friends with. We also had Lake Wood Baptist Church come to volunteer at the Jefferson St Bridge.
It is such a blessing to The Bridge Ministry to have so many Churches from around the country and organization want to come along side us and help spread the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to those less fortunate.
